Interview Questions: About You

Describe a typical work week.

A candidate is expected to discuss what they do while they're working in detail during an interview for possible employment . Think about the position you're applying for before you answer. How does your current or past positions relate to it? By connecting previous experiences with the job opening, you will have successfully answered the question.

Obviously, it isn't a good idea talk about non work related activities that you do on company time. Although, I've had applicants talk about  how they are often late due to driving a child to daycare or taking a long lunch break to workout at the gym.

Your answers should focus on work to show the interviewer that you're efficient and organized. For example, "When I arrive at work on Monday morning, I check my emails and any voice mails to prioritize my activities for the week."
